Bjurholm Municipality's preschool operations are seeking a substitute preschool teacher.

We have two municipal preschools located in Bjurholm's urban area with a beautiful outdoor environment and forests nearby. We work with mixed-age groups of children aged 1-5 years.

We are now looking for you, a preschool teacher, who wants to become our new colleague and help shape and develop the preschool of the future.

We are passionate about the best interests of the children and work with a strong focus on language development, safety, and collegial learning.

We expect you to have a strong commitment and take your mission seriously. You are curious, involved in the children's learning, and take an active role in creating a stimulating and accessible learning environment. Of course, you also share the values that our governing documents are based on.

Responsibilities

You, together with your team, are responsible for ensuring that care, development, and learning form a whole and that all children develop as far as possible according to their abilities and in accordance with governing documents.

You work together with others in the team to create a safe, educational, and fun environment for the children. We start from each child's ability to develop, where you strengthen the child by listening, supporting, and encouraging. You plan, document, follow up, and reflect continuously to develop the educational activities together with your colleagues.

Contact and collaboration with parents are an important part of the work. As a person, you are creative, driven, engaged, flexible, positive, and want to develop yourself and our common educational mission.

You recognize the importance of collegial learning and the value of family involvement and have a good ability to interact and collaborate with children and adults. You are a curious and dedicated team player who brings enthusiasm to the work.

You have the ability to see the advantages of differences, differences among children and adults, different ways of thinking and doing. An exploratory approach is important, as it allows children to participate in exploration with their own suggestions, theories, and expressions.

Collaboration with colleagues and other units is an important part of the mission.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a licensed preschool teacher who is passionate about their profession.
• Is well acquainted with the preschool's governing documents and has a good ability to translate them into both theory and practice.
• Believes in the competent, unique child and that learning occurs in an environment that is fun, safe, and educational.
• Is easy to collaborate across departments and units.
• Sees opportunities in everyday life and spreads joy at work in both small and large contexts.
• Has the ability to share your experiences as well as learn from others.

Conditions

Start date 2025-08-25 or by agreement.

Subject to the necessary decisions being made, the position is 100% temporary until 2025-01-24.
