Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each customer is unique, and your tasks vary based on the customer’s needs. You respect the customer's self-determination and integrity, contributing to a smooth daily life.

About the position

Our customer is a social and cheerful girl living in Halmstad with a great interest in animals, books, movies, music, and fashion. We are looking for a personal assistant who enjoys engaging in others' daily lives and who is happy to share the interests of our customer.

The role requires a good ability to create secure relationships, as the work involves providing support in daily life with everything it entails, as well as accompanying the customer to the workplace a few days a week. To succeed in this role, you need to be attentive, committed, and comfortable working closely with another person. It is also crucial to strictly follow established hygiene routines as our customer is sensitive to infections.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following:

• wants to work with a woman in her 30s living in Halmstad
• has previous experience in care and support
• is comfortable working in a household with multiple dogs
• is fragrance-free/non-smoking during working hours
• has good knowledge of Swedish

It is also an advantage if you:

• are a trained nursing assistant
• have experience with PEG, CPAP, and cough machines
• have experience using mobility aids
• share the customer's interests

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The position is a summer temporary job and is approximately 30-100%. The job involves work during daytime and evening hours, with possibly a few night shifts. The position is scheduled from week 24 to week 34. Working hours vary on weekdays - 08:30-20:30 + 20:30-08:30 and weekends - 09:30-21:30 + 21:30-09:30.

W. 24 90% with shifts both during the week and weekend W. 26-28 100% with shifts both during the week and weekend W. 29 30% W. 31-W.32 100% with shifts both during the week and weekend W. 34 30%

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensation is in accordance with collective agreements.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you, as an applicant, can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a background check from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years old. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police criminal record before a potential employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
