JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead Teacher

We are looking for lead teachers for the upcoming school year. Current or former lead teachers are applying in competition with other candidates who want to develop in their teaching role through a lead teacher position. Applicants for lead teacher positions in Klippan Municipality participate in a longer admission process. The assessment is based on grades from the principal and the achievement of your students should be good over time. In your application, you should present an argumentative text on how you can contribute to continued development of goal fulfillment through your assignment. A recruitment group will carry out the final selection of candidates.

We strive to have lead teachers at all school units, but we prioritize filling positions based on where the needs in the operations are assessed to be greatest and to increase goal fulfillment in the operations. You indicate in your application which school unit or units you are applying to. We will select candidates based on the needs of the operations and the qualifications of the applicants. The final selection will take place later this spring based on an assessment of the candidates' potential.

To be eligible for any of the positions, you should be able to take responsibility for driving work processes within one or more of the following areas: Leadership, Language Development Approaches, Choice Competence. The area of Choice Competence includes working to develop students' ability to make choices in everyday life, e.g., based on values, and for the future, e.g., well-founded choices for studies and towards an upcoming labor market.

The lead teacher's assignment at the school unit:

Mainly teaching with high quality and good goal fulfillment, as well as other tasks related to the teaching assignment. Responsible for the introduction of new employees and supporting colleagues as well as being part of the work with VFU students. Subject/area responsibility, leading networks, and mentoring other teachers in various areas.

Overall assignments are formulated in consultation between the principal and the head of the school. The assignments are based on an analysis of the needs in the operations and the individual lead teacher's special competence.

As a lead teacher, you have 40 hours of workplace-based time. The assignment period varies between 1-3 years.

QUALIFICATIONS

To be eligible for the position, you need to have a teaching license and at least four years of experience in the teaching profession.
