JOB DESCRIPTION

As an employee in the care administration, you make a difference for our care recipients every day. We are now looking for two driven care assistants for Månadsvägen, a group home with five apartments.

The work involves being a safe and pedagogical support for care recipients in social relationships, at home, and in the community at large. The support is based on participation and is designed individually in a care plan together with the individual. The support involves providing care recipients with assistance in daily structure and working according to decisions made in LSS. The work is done in close collaboration with the individual's network, daily activities, nurses, and rehabilitation staff.

Here, you are expected to work according to a value-based and salutogenic approach to strengthen the individual's sense of coherence and meaning in everyday life. You will support and assist with leisure activities, cooking, and household chores. You need to be creative and flexible, as the planned content of the day may vary and change at short notice. With us, you will be part of a staff group where working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS

It is desirable that you have knowledge of different levels of ability, preferably autism and developmental disabilities. Furthermore, it is an advantage if you have knowledge of epilepsy and dementia. The work requires you to be responsible, engaged, and have good collaboration skills. You need to have a positive mindset and a calm and secure working method.

Some computer skills are needed as documentation is part of the job. The positions require good skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. Personal suitability is of great importance.

To be considered for the positions, you must have completed education from the care and nursing program, the child and leisure program, nursing education with additional training, caregiver education, or other education deemed suitable for the operation, e.g., behavioral science or pedagogical education at the university level of at least 120 credits.

To be eligible for employment, you need to present an extract from the police criminal record for verification of your own information in the criminal record (442.3) according to § 9, 1st paragraph.
