We are now looking for a housing supporter to our team at Klockargården. We offer training and a developing job where you can make a difference! The position is a full-time position with working hours scheduled during the day/evening/night and every other weekend with a 6-month probationary period. Once the probationary period is completed, the employment can transition to a permanent position.

About Klockargården Klockargården is a group home according to LSS that caters to individuals with diagnoses within the autism spectrum and/or intellectual disabilities. The facility was built in 2020 and opened in September 2021. It is located in a quiet environment 25 km outside of Karlstad and 20 km from Kristinehamn. We have a vision for the future that the facility will have small-scale animal husbandry and engage in cultivation.
We have a total of 6 accommodation places to offer. Currently, the staff group consists of 8 employees, but we are now looking for 3 more housing supporters for 100% positions.

About the role In the role of housing supporter, you will base your work on the individual needs and wishes of the residents and provide support in daily life from a pedagogical approach. Together with other employees, you will work towards making each day meaningful and enriching. You will support and guide with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. An important part of the job is to stimulate and motivate residents to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your tasks will also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. Working hours are scheduled during the day, evenings, weekends, and on-call duty. We work according to our pedagogical framework where low-arousal responses are central.
You will have a unit manager close to you who is present in the facility during daytime hours, Monday to Friday. This could also be a future career opportunity for you.
Your experience and knowledge You who are applying have a high school education in health and care (nursing assistant) or another equivalent education, e.g., social or treatment pedagogy. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form, good computer skills, and experience with documentation. It is an advantage if you have experience working with target group 1, or groups within the autism spectrum, intellectual disabilities, psychosocial issues, and psychiatric conditions.
Otherwise, your CV is not the most important. If you have the right qualities and basic health education, we will support you and provide opportunities for growth. You need a B driver's license to work in our facility as several tasks involve driving the facility vehicle for activities.
