Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

The woman is wheelchair-bound and needs help with most aspects of her daily life, such as personal care, home maintenance, and cooking.

A driver's license and access to a car are required as it is difficult to travel by public transport to the workplace.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a woman in her 80s living in Ekshärad
• has good knowledge of Swedish
• is tolerant of pets as there is a cat in the home
• has a driver's license and access to a car

It is also advantageous if you:

• have experience in similar work
• share the client's interest in cooking

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is hourly substitute. The woman requires assistance around the clock with on-call duty at night. The shifts are usually day shifts between 09:00-21:00 or night shifts from 21:00-09:00. We are looking for a substitute who can be flexible in their availability but primarily be able to work night shifts.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.

According to agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
