Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the Position

The role of a personal assistant requires a high ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, social, and responsible. It is also important that you are solution-oriented, can take initiative, and see what needs to be done.

Our client is a young man residing in Karlstad, who is looking for a personal assistant with a sense of humor and a twinkle in their eye. The client has a physical disability, and as his personal assistant, you will be his extended arm in everyday life. Since the client sometimes speaks a bit unclearly, good knowledge of Swedish is important.

We are now looking for someone who matches the following:

• wants to work with a 27-year-old man living in Karlstad
• has good knowledge of Swedish
• has good physical condition, heavier lifting occurs

It is also an advantage if you:

• have experience in similar work
• have a B driver's license

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working Hours, Employment Rate, and Salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the position is approximately 70%. The job primarily involves daytime work, but also night work and there are also 24-hour shifts. During the nights, it is awake night.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations will be in accordance with collective agreements.

Start Date

Immediately or according to agreement.

Being Employed at Humana

A requirement for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
