The department's mission is to offer adults guidance and education in lifelong learning. Within the department, there is also guidance and support for adults' individual development towards self-sufficiency. The department is responsible for integration and also coordinates labor market policy measures.

Social and family services, IFO, can be found within the Learning and Work department together with Individual and Development, Adult Education, and the municipality's Learning Center.

It is a breadth of activities that have many points of contact, where cooperation between them is important. Cooperation within Learning and Work and the municipality at large is a success factor. One of the department's most important missions is to continue creating positive effects from our collaboration for those we serve.

Social and family services, IFO, in Forshaga Municipality handles authority functions for adults and children according to SoL, LVU, and LVM and provides outpatient care and work with our clients, as well as open support. A total of about 35 people work within these services.

We now have a permanent position and parental leave substitute available as a social worker in our Child Group.

Description

IFO has a Child Group, an Adult Group, and a common Outpatient Care that handles family treatment and addiction treatment. Within Outpatient Care, there is also open parental support and youth counseling.

The Child Group is newly formed and consists of 12 employees, one of whom has a reception function. The Child Group has two case supervisors who support and guide in daily work. As a new social worker, you will also have a colleague as a mentor during the initial period.

Job Responsibilities

As a social worker in the Child Group, you will work with authority functions for children and youth, where you investigate and assess children's needs, as well as follow up on outpatient interventions and placements. Some positions in the Child Group also include a focus on recruiting, investigating, and supervising our clients.

Qualifications

You are a social worker or have another qualification that the employer deems equivalent and preferably have experience working in child welfare. You have good knowledge of legislation and experience with BBIC. The position requires a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

A driving license (B) is required.
