Are you an active person looking for a meaningful job? We are now seeking a personal assistant for a wheelchair-bound boy in his early teens who enjoys music (heavy metal) and outdoor activities. The position is part-time, approximately 57%.

The personal assistance is organizationally under the administration for support, care, and assistance. Support, care, and assistance consist of three operational areas: functional support, home care, and special accommodations. The core mission of the administration is to provide care, nursing, and rehabilitation for the elderly and to provide support and assistance for people to live an independent life.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The role of a personal assistant means that you will be a support in the daily life of the user. This means that you will work in the user's home and provide support in areas such as personal hygiene, communication, mobility, and activities both inside and outside the home.

You will work as the sole personal assistant for the user, and together with the parents, your main task is to create as independent and meaningful a life as possible for the user.

The work is scheduled for afternoons/evenings and some weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS

Since the user's needs and wishes are at the center, personal suitability will be the most important factor in the recruitment process (a probationary period will be applied).

We are looking for someone with good self-awareness, teamwork skills, and a respectful attitude. You are creative and energetic, with the ability and drive to find suitable activities. You possess personal maturity but still retain a childlike spirit and a sense of humor.

As both communication and documentation are essential parts of the job, you must have a good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. Experience working with children is desirable, and we welcome male applicants.

A B driver's license is a requirement for the position.
