We are now looking for two residential support workers for a temporary position of about 1 year with the possibility of extension.

Description

You will be part of our open care group where we work together towards the goal of making our social services the best in Sweden by 2025. Responsibilities

The open care is a growing organization that focuses on outreach, preventive work, and collaboration with other relevant actors. As a residential support worker, you will perform assessed assistance measures according to SoL for individuals whose risk behavior and/or mental health issues affect their daily lives.

With significant involvement from the individual, you will establish an implementation plan based on the assistance decision with the goal of strengthening independence through support, training, and motivation in everyday situations. The work is characterized by a holistic perspective where the individual is seen as part of a context. Common interventions include helping the individual find a meaningful activity or employment to break social isolation.

The work is based in the home environment or other relevant environments where the individual needs support and is initially carried out during office hours.

Documentation is part of the job and is done in the operational system Treserva.

Qualifications

The position requires education as a social pedagogue, treatment assistant, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer.

We are looking for someone with experience working with risk behavior and/or the target group of social psychiatry. It is advantageous if you have training in any of the methods MI or CM (case management). You have good knowledge of social documentation with a solid understanding of how to work with implementation plans.

You work from a systemic and salutogenic approach and have a good ability to create sustainable relationships. Additionally, you are flexible and can quickly adapt to new conditions when the assignment requires it.

The positions are temporary full-time for one year with the possibility of extension.

The department for individual and care includes open interventions, contact persons, foster homes, family treatment, and authority exercise. The operation offers a wide range of support to meet each individual's specific needs and conditions. The goal is to provide the right interventions to promote personal development and create security for the individual.
