We are looking for someone who wants to work as a personal assistant in Deje and become part of a fantastic team that needs another colleague!

We prefer that you are between 30-50 years old and have some form of experience in care and support. Experience with epilepsy is a plus but not a requirement.

If you live in Karlstad and need to take the bus to the workplace, it takes 41 minutes.

Our client in Deje is a woman in her 30s who has greater care needs and requires help with everything in her daily life. The days vary based on her condition, and daily walks are preferred. To thrive at work, you are social, driven, and proactive. You have good physical health, a kind heart, and a great understanding of what it means to work in another person's home.

The position is approximately 85%, and the shifts are scheduled during the day and evening, but there are also shifts with awake night duty. The parental leave position extends up to one year.

We are also looking for a summer substitute who can cover during the regular staff's vacation with a chance for a permanent position.

A driver's license B is an advantage.

Working as a personal assistant can look very different depending on the type of disability the customer has, as well as the fact that we are all different individuals whether we have a disability or not. As a personal assistant, you compensate for what the customer cannot do themselves, so they can live as others do to the greatest extent possible. Working in another person's home places high demands on you as an assistant, and there may also be a family to consider. It is important to have a sense of intuition to read how the customer wants things in different situations.
