JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As our colleague tries other tasks in our organization, we are now looking for a social worker for the investigation side of the child and youth group at the Individual and Family Care (IFO). We work in accordance with BBIC, apply a family-oriented approach, and work with the target group aged 0 - 21 years.

The child and youth group consists of five investigators, three case managers, and two resource managers. We are a competent, helpful, and friendly work group that enjoys working together. As a social worker on the investigation side, you will investigate the needs of children and young people for protection and support. There is also an open care side with three family therapists. We have a Reception Team that activates and pre-assesses cases within children, youth, and adults. IFO is organized in such a way that all authority exercises are in the same building, which, in addition to Children & Youth, includes Adults, ÄO, LSS, and Social Psychiatry, which we see as a significant asset.

We are looking for someone who wants to contribute new ideas and engagement and who thrives in an organization focused on quality and development. For us, it is important to develop our working methods to provide children and families with a professional response and legally secure processing.

You collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. You have the support of a unit manager and case supervisor in your daily work and access to external supervision.

The position is a temporary contract until 2025-12-31. Start date by agreement.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a degree in social work. We value you who have a professional demeanor and the ability to create good relationships with children, families, and other stakeholders. You work independently and plan and organize your work effectively. You collaborate well with others and are receptive in your interactions. You are well acquainted with and updated on current legislation and can express yourself well in both speech and writing.

Experience in authority exercise is an advantage. A B driver's license is a requirement.

The position is subject to background checks. You as an applicant must present an extract from the police criminal record before employment occurs.
