We are currently looking for someone who wants to be a part of our wonderful team and work as a personal assistant for our male client in Arvika.

What does this position entail?

The position is a part-time role with a 53-year-old man who lives with his family in Arvika. Working hours are during the day, between 1:00 PM and 7:00 PM. There is an opportunity for more hours, and on some days the shifts may be longer.

The man has a CP injury, he does not speak but communicates through his body language. You will support him in daily activities such as feeding, transfers, hygiene, dressing, and other similar tasks. On some days, you will accompany him to medical appointments or activities.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is engaged, respectful, and attentive. We prefer that you have great patience and the ability to be personal while acting professionally.

We would like you to:

• have a genuine interest in helping others.
• be able to understand and make yourself understood in Swedish.
• be physically strong.
• have experience in care and assistance (this is a plus, but not a requirement).
• preferably have a B driver's license.

Additional information

Employment type: As long as the assistance assignment lasts

Scope: 30%, with the possibility of more

Working hours: Daytime 1 PM - 7 PM (may sometimes be longer shifts)

Start date: by agreement

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must be able to prove that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit. Employment can only occur after verification of the work permit, as required by the Aliens Ordinance.
