Personal Assistant for an Active Man with MS

We are looking for engaged and responsible individuals who can support and help an active man with MS. As a personal assistant, you will be an important part of his daily life and contribute to making life as independent and meaningful as possible.

Your tasks will include:

• Transfers and position changes
• Medication
• Catheter flushing
• Exercise
• Assistance with meals, the client currently receives food via a feeding tube (PEG)

The client lives idyllically in Glumserud (Väse).

Requirements:

• Experience in personal assistance or similar work is advantageous but not a requirement.
• A driver's license and access to a car are essential as the client lives in the countryside outside Karlstad and you need to be able to get to and from the workplace.
• Empathy, flexibility, and respect for the client's wishes and needs.

Job Duties:

• Personal care, tube feeding, the client currently receives food via PEG, as well as catheter flushing and medication management.
• Transfers and other practical assistance in daily life.
• Driving the client's car during activities and training.

Working Hours:

The working hours are scheduled from morning to evening, and you will receive a schedule during the summer. There is also the possibility to work extra when needed at other times.

The client is active and enjoys participating in various activities and outings. Therefore, we are looking for individuals who are willing to engage and be involved in creating meaningful moments for the client.

Other:

We have a collective agreement and individual salary setting, as well as wellness benefits of up to 4000 SEK/year.
