Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (the Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's autonomy and privacy and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. You who apply should be calm and secure but also able to take initiative and motivate the client to activities that suit her. The client enjoys routines and needs you to help her maintain them, but also challenge her to try something new from time to time.

We are now looking for someone who fits the following criteria:

• wants to work with a 19-year-old girl living in Hammarö
• has good knowledge of Swedish
• has a driver's license and access to a car

It is also an advantage if you:

• have experience working as a personal assistant
• have experience with autism
• have experience with epilepsy
• have experience with sign language support

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is as needed with the possibility of a scheduled position in the future. The position involves work during afternoons, evenings, and weekends. On weekdays, the hours are usually around 3 PM to 9 PM and on weekends around 10 AM to 5 PM.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.

Start date

Immediately or according to agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that confirm your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
