The client lives alone in his house and has assistance around the clock. His home is equipped with a ceiling lift in the bedroom, adapted aids, and a wheelchair ramp. He uses a power wheelchair both indoors and outdoors. Despite his need for assistance, it is important for the client to have a manageable and meaningful life.
About the role:
- Assist the client in his daily life and activities
- Help with personal care and transfers
- Support during leisure activities and social contexts
- Follow the instructions of the supervisor as all contact is through the supervisor
We are looking for someone who:
- Is attentive, responsible, and committed
- Can work varying hours
- Has good communication skills.
- Previous experience in personal assistance is an advantage but not a requirement
