About the Company You will be part of a dynamic and goal-oriented team of about 60 employees at our office in Hackefors, Linköping. Saab TransponderTech AB is part of the Business Area Surveillance. Your Responsibilities We are looking for an economist with a positive mindset who enjoys varied tasks. You work well in teams as well as independently. As an Economist, you will be responsible for the daily financial routines at Saab TransponderTech AB, where the main tasks are: • Setting up new suppliers together with purchasing • Scanning supplier invoices • Registering incoming supplier invoices and sending them out for approval • Posting supplier invoices after approval • Matching supplier invoices against purchase orders • Creating supplier payments • Making other manual payments as needed • Reconciling payments against reporting files • Clearing customer payments • Reconciling bank accounts • Posting payroll files, etc. • Revaluations of accounts receivable and payable and bank accounts • VAT reporting • EU periodic reporting • Various invoicing • Year-end closing work The department is currently implementing a new financial system, which means that the position offers an opportunity to influence and set future working methods within the finance function.
Your Profile We are looking for an economist who is used to working independently and driving their work and who is not hesitant to take on new tasks. To succeed in the role, you have: · Relevant education · At least three years of relevant work experience · Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written It is also a plus if you have experience in: · Implementation of business systems · Tax reporting, such as income tax, VAT, social fees The assignment is initially until the end of the year with start as soon as possible, with a possibility of extension. During the period until August 1, there will be a gradual increase in working hours by agreement with the immediate manager. The idea is that you will work 100% from August 1. The role also requires a security clearance based on the security requirements set by Saab.
