JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Within the financial assistance unit, the team consists of three social workers. Financial assistance is part of the Adult Group within Social Services, and other colleagues include social workers in LSS, addiction, social psychiatry, assistance for the elderly, and domestic violence. The operations also include the authority for children and families, the open care team, and social psychiatry.

Main job responsibilities:

• Investigate and assess the right to financial assistance or other interventions according to SoL for adults (e.g., social contracts)
• Provide support and advice to those seeking help to become self-sufficient
• Work closely with our citizens and build trusting relationships
• Collaborate with colleagues within the municipality to find the best solutions for individual needs
• Cooperate with other actors to help individuals achieve their goals
• Document and follow up on cases according to applicable legislation

QUALIFICATIONS

A degree in social work or education deemed equivalent by the employer.

Experience in financial assistance work is considered an asset.
