The role involves integrating normative and empirical research findings to develop ethical frameworks and practical recommendations for AR interventions. The researcher will also be responsible for collaborating with interdisciplinary and multicultural teams in Sweden, Italy, and Bulgaria, ensuring effective collaboration and contextual sensitivity in the research process. The results will be disseminated through scientific publications, reports, and workshops with stakeholders, and contribute to the development of transnational public health strategies inspired by One Health principles.
The researcher is expected to maintain active collaboration with other researchers, engage with key stakeholders, and contribute to knowledge exchange between academic, political, and public health-related actors.
Qualifications
The position requires a PhD in medical sciences with a focus on public health and bioethics. Professional proficiency in English and certified knowledge of the Swedish language are required. Good collaboration skills, previous experience in international and interdisciplinary collaboration, and documented experience in grant writing, particularly in developing or contributing to successful research proposals, are necessary. Expertise in the methods mentioned under job responsibilities, including normative and theoretical methods in bioethics, as well as experience using both qualitative and quantitative empirical research methods in the field, is required.
Desirable/meritorious
Previous research in the same research areas, for example through relevant publications in scientific journals, is meritorious. Previous experience with the method of "discrete choice experiments" in preference research is also meritorious.
