As a Compliance Coordinator, you play a crucial role in ensuring that our Swedish forestry operations comply with environmental legislation and other requirements. You will work both strategically and operationally to plan, lead, and coordinate our work within environmental management and compliance. In this role, you will be part of the sustainability function and work with engaged colleagues to develop and strengthen our environmental management efforts. Since the role is new to us, you will also have the opportunity to shape it within certain frameworks.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Plan and conduct internal and external audits of the environmental management system
  • Lead and coordinate the handling of deviations from audits
  • Ensure and further develop our compliance control through follow-up and process improvements
  • Plan and implement initiatives to strengthen compliance within the organization
  • Collaborate and coordinate sustainability efforts with our operations in Finland and the Baltic states
  • Participate in and drive projects related to sustainability and compliance, including updating procedures and processes

You are a skilled communicator who thrives on collaborating with different people and easily inspires and motivates others. Challenges drive you, and you do not hesitate to lead change processes to create real development.

Skills and qualifications we believe you have:

  • University degree in forestry, environmental science, or similar.
  • Several years of experience working with environmental management and compliance control
  • Experience in project management and a good ability to coordinate and drive change processes
  • Good knowledge of both Swedish and English, both spoken and written
