Do you want to work together with Swedish authorities within the justice system to contribute to a lawful handling of detained individuals and monitor suspected crime scenes? Securus is a company that collaborates with authorities to manage staffing for detention centers and temporary police surveillance. We are currently looking for someone to work as a security guard for crime scene monitoring and in detention centers in Gällivare. We seek individuals who are accustomed to collaborating with colleagues to ensure quality in their work and who can adapt to changing situations as required. Experience in corrections, psychiatry, or similar professions where you have interacted with people in vulnerable situations is advantageous.
The position involves working as a detention guard, managing the operations of the detention center with your colleagues, and monitoring temporary objects that arise in cases of suspected crime as needed. This is a permanent position with an initial 6-month probationary period. We need staff who can work on an as-needed basis. The employment may start with basic training that provides you with the right tools and knowledge to perform the job when required.
Qualifications for the Position
We are looking for you who are a security guard. Since Securus is a security-classified company that primarily works with public authorities, a security clearance with background checks will be conducted in accordance with the Security Protection Act.
The position requires Swedish citizenship and fluent knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form. The job may occasionally involve sharing and conveying necessary information during the authority's handling of detained individuals. You also need to be able to speak and understand English.
We expect you, as a security guard, to have good physical fitness to handle the demanding situations that may arise in the job.

Salary: According to the collective agreement between Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union
