We are looking for
We are looking for someone with education in security or experience that the employer deems equivalent, as well as a B driver's license. Access to a personal vehicle is desirable. You should have good administrative skills and computer literacy, and it is meritorious if you have experience in data protection work, security work, and technical knowledge related to operational security. Experience in establishing routines and instructions is also considered meritorious. Experience working with security in forensic psychiatry or correctional care is an advantage.

What you will work with
As a security coordinator, you report directly to the area manager and work on their behalf and mandate. The work is conducted according to current regulations. It involves collaboration with the correctional service, police, and other forensic psychiatric clinics regarding security issues such as standards, requirements, and working methods.
You will also collaborate with other security coordinators in the Region's security unit. You will participate and contribute to clinic management work. You will be responsible for coordinating work in security systems, such as alarms and locks. This includes work with perimeter security, surveillance, security technology, locking systems, access control systems, as well as other technology related to security, such as gates and work with assault alarms in both closed and open care.
In your role, you will act with the Region's data protection network and be designated as the organization's data protection contact, reporting to the data protection coordinator and data protection officer. You will be involved in all planning around construction projects that may occur. You will function as a supervisor for our three security operators and also staff from the security company, but this does not include personnel responsibility or recruitment. Together with the clinic's fire safety representative, you will be involved in planning and working with routines and drills related to fire safety.
In your role, you will be assigned responsibilities as a fire safety representative, which means that you, together with the clinic's other fire safety representatives, will be involved in overseeing fire safety and ensuring that all safety routines are followed, as well as planning and working with routines and drills related to fire safety. You will be responsible for appropriate training in security, which includes training visiting contractors and newly hired staff, as well as disseminating information internally, for example, at workplace meetings.

Information about the position
We offer you a permanent full-time position during the day. Start date according to agreement. Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
Due to the nature of the organization and security requirements, applicants must be prepared to provide a criminal record extract.
