At our manufacturing facility in Alvik, Luleå, we produce patient lifts, slings, and other accessories. Our products are used to lift and transfer individuals in nursing homes, special schools, hospitals, and homes around the world. We won the Swedish Lean Award in 2021, so our Lean work and continuous improvements are a natural part of our operations where you will play an important role.

About the position

Do you want to be part of a global organization with strong values and a socially important purpose? If so, this could be the opportunity for you! We are now looking for an EHS Manager (Environment, Health, Safety) for our manufacturing facility in Alvik, Luleå.

In the role of EHS Manager, you will have the primary responsibility for independently developing, implementing, and following up on activities related to workplace environment, safety, health, and environment. You will work both operationally and strategically. Key tasks and responsibilities include:

• Planning and implementing projects and programs aimed at ensuring the company's goals and strategies regarding EHS results
• Conducting risk assessments, risk analyses, and investigations according to established procedures and laws
• Ensuring compliance with EHS regulations, Baxter standards, internal and external audits (ISO 14001)
• Strategic improvement work and preventive measures
• Training and informing managers and employees about EHS and driving the safety culture forward
• Following up and ensuring EHS information in the management system, as well as other EHS-related systems
• Staying updated on new laws and trends in the field

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a relevant university degree in the field and well-documented competence in EHS and relevant standards. You should have at least 3 years of experience in independent EHS work within the manufacturing industry or a similar field. Experience working in global organizations is an advantage.

As a person, you are a leader driven by continuous improvements, structure, and collaboration. You possess a strong ability to analyze, coordinate, and drive results. You are used to independently driving your work forward and communicating with all parties in the organization. You have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as very good proficiency in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
