Our Ingrid Technology teams builds and maintains software for grid analyses and simulations, power trading and optimization algorithms to maximize efficiency within the grid. We also focus on creating a data-driven culture by building data pipelines and a Business Intelligence layer to provide stakeholders with actionable insights. About the Role:We are on the lookout for a Platform Engineer, who will be at the forefront of designing and managing cloud infrastructure that drive innovation and efficiency for the Ingrid Tech team. This role involves developing cloud strategies, ensuring the security and efficiency of cloud systems, and collaborating with the rest of the Ingrid Tech team to deliver integrated solutions. You will have the opportunity to lead impactful cloud projects that align with our commitment to be part of shaping the energy system of the future. Explore and utilize a diverse range of tools to maximize developer experience across our data solutions, machine-learning capabilities, and software suite.Key responsibilities:

• Design Cloud Solutions that can scale. Create scalable, secure, and cost-efficient GCP architectures tailored to business needs.
• Manage IaC with Terraform configurations for automated infrastructure provisioning and updates.
• Ensure Security by implementing robust IAM policies, encryption, and compliance standards for secure cloud environments.
• Streamline Development with efficient CI/CD pipelines to empower faster and smoother software delivery.
• Observe and monitor resource usage to take action to improve performance and cost-efficiency across a diverse system.
• Collaborate & Improve: Work with teams to align cloud solutions with goals while staying updated with trends and advancements in cloud, observability, and DevOps.

Key Qualifications

• Cloud experience with a strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform or similar (AWS, Azure).
• Cloud storage and databases with an understanding of cloud storage and databases, e.g., S3 buckets, BigQuery, PostgreSQL.
• DevOps concepts such as infrastructure as code (Terraform), containerization (Docker, Kubeflow), CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
• Security embedded in the workflow, always considering security implications and risk-mitigation. Experience with authorization and IAM policies would be meritable but not required.
• Solid coder with proficiency in Python and JavaScript.Expertise in monitoring with tools like Cloud Logging, Prometheus, ElasticSearch, or similar.
• MLOps experience with tools like Vertex AI, which is meritable but not required.
• Curiosity and innovation with a strong interest in exploring and evaluating the latest innovations.
