IT Coordinator at the Labor Court
Do you want to help develop the IT environment and technology at the Labor Court? We are looking for an IT Coordinator who is interested in working broadly with both IT and technical issues. The work is independent with great responsibility and variation in tasks. It gives you the opportunity to work with engaged and friendly colleagues in Gamla Stan in Stockholm.
About the Labor Court
The Labor Court is a special court with the task of adjudicating labor law disputes. A labor dispute is a dispute regarding collective agreements or another dispute concerning the relationship between employers and employees. The Labor Court's decisions cannot be appealed.
The Labor Court operates in a culturally protected building in Stockholm. Please read more on our website www.arbetsdomstolen.se.
We strive for diversity among our staff.
Main Responsibilities
The role of IT Coordinator means that you are responsible for the work with the IT environment and technical equipment at the court. This includes everything from user support and coordination of contacts with the IT operations provider to the administration of, for example, permissions and software. You also work with strategic and operational planning and development of IT operations and other operational issues. You contribute your expertise in various contexts, for example, in connection with the digitization of case management and the upcoming renovation of the negotiation rooms. You are responsible for developing the court's case management system and website. Additionally, you play an important role in information security work.
Many of the above tasks you will handle in collaboration with the court's janitors, such as replacing broken or old equipment, moving IT equipment within the court's premises, and providing user support for the technology in the court's meeting rooms and negotiation rooms.
If time permits, you can be a backup for the court clerks in case management work.
Requirements
- completed and approved upper secondary education
- relevant and several years of experience in the above-mentioned tasks within public administration
- very good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form, as well as speaking and understanding English
- high IT maturity, very good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
It may be advantageous if you have:
- grades from post-secondary courses in computer/system science or other relevant education that the court assesses as equivalent
- knowledge of AV technology
- experience in development work or digital transformation as well as work within ITIL
- experience in IT security work
- experience working as a court clerk.
Personal Qualities
You are confident and stable and meet colleagues from different professional categories in a professional and attentive manner. You have good judgment and the ability to see the whole picture to translate the needs of the organization into concrete solutions. You take initiative and have a good ability to independently see what needs to be done within the framework of the assignment and structure your tasks so that you can have many things going on at the same time. When necessary, you have the ability to work under time pressure. You have a humble attitude and can easily adapt to changing circumstances.
You are meticulous and have high service and communication skills.
Good collaboration skills are essential for success in the role. Within the court, we are used to helping each other with tasks, even if the area of responsibility may be somewhat different, and we expect you to share this perspective.
To thrive in the role, you should also enjoy working in a small group with a large shared responsibility. For this reason, we place great importance on your personal qualities.
