Ekängengruppen is a family-owned real estate company with roots in Halland since the early 1990s. What started with self-built and managed residential properties has developed into an established real estate operation with commercial properties in Falkenberg and Varberg, as well as several exciting development projects for the future.

The company is run by two brothers, which means short decision-making paths, a long-term perspective, and a business where ideas can quickly become reality. Among our properties are trade and logistics properties with well-known tenants such as ICA Kvantum, Stora Coop in Breared, Team Sportia, and Systembolaget.

Here, you will become an important part of a smaller team where every employee has a significant impact on the business.

What does the role offer?

As an Accountant here, you will have a central and independent role with broad responsibility for the finances of several real estate companies. You work closely with the operations and get a holistic view of the companies' finances while having great freedom to plan and structure your work.

Your main tasks:

• Ongoing accounting for our real estate companies within the group
• Accounts payable and receivable
• Payments, reconciliations, and VAT reporting
• Quarterly rent statements to our tenants
• Annual accounts

We have already come a long way in automating and streamlining accounting, but we still see good opportunities to develop working methods and routines. For you who want to contribute and influence, there is therefore plenty of room to make an impact. The role can also develop with group consolidation and greater responsibility depending on your ambitions and interests.

We are flexible regarding the extent of the position and can adapt the role to 75–100% based on your preferences. The location is at our pleasant office in central Falkenberg.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have experience working independently with accounting for multiple companies and who thrive taking responsibility for the entire financial process. You have post-secondary education in economics or equivalent practical experience.

As a person, you are structured, detail-oriented, and self-motivated. You thrive with great trust and personal responsibility, in a role where you are encouraged to take initiative. You are service-oriented, flexible, and enjoy a varied position in a smaller team.
