About the role
As a Business Developer / IT Object Manager, you play a central role in leading and developing our managed objects, primarily within Education and Social Services. You act as the link between operations and IT, working closely with business representatives in schools and social services to translate needs into sustainable and efficient digital solutions.
The role involves a broad network where you collaborate with business representatives, steering groups, suppliers, and internal specialist functions. You drive development issues, create structure, and contribute to our member municipalities continuing their digitalization journey.
You will become part of a team with three other business developers, where you will jointly drive development, share experiences, and support each other in your work. Here you will have colleagues to bounce ideas off and the opportunity to contribute your perspectives in an engaged and competent team.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring governance through valid agreements with system suppliers
- Leading and coordinating IT-related activities linked to technology, security, and system administration
- Serving as chair for the object management group, planning meetings, setting agendas, and ensuring documentation and information dissemination
- Monitoring and reporting status, results, and development within your objects to steering groups and portfolio management
- Preparing budget proposals, monitoring, and making forecasts together with the financial controller
- Driving business development and change work related to digitalization
- Supporting operations in change journeys and contributing to ensuring users and managers have the right prerequisites for success
Your profile
We are looking for you who thrive in the borderland between operations and IT. You have the ability to see the big picture, understand how different systems and processes connect, and simultaneously build trusting relationships with the people around you.
You find technology exciting, even if you do not need to be a technical specialist. The important thing is that you understand the possibilities of technology and can translate them into business value.
To succeed in the role, we believe you have:
- Experience in object management, business development, or similar coordinating roles
- Experience from municipalities, authorities, or other public sector operations
- Experience working with governance, collaboration, and change management
- Experience in leading meetings, coordinating activities, and creating momentum
- Ability to communicate with both operations, management, and technical specialists
- Experience with PM3 or similar governance and steering models is an advantage
As a person, you are structured, communicative, and relationship-building. You enjoy taking responsibility, creating order, and getting people to work towards common goals.
