We are now looking for an accountant who wants to become part of our accounting team. We are casting a wide net and are open to you who have worked with accounting for at least a couple of years and are very confident in routine accounting, as well as for you who are a more senior and fully independent accountant. The role's responsibilities, client assignments, and development opportunities will be adapted to your experience and competence.

As an accountant, you work with clients of varying sizes and in different industries. RTL primarily works with owner-led companies, which gives you the opportunity to get close to the clients and create a good understanding of their businesses.

For you who are earlier in your career, the focus initially will lie on routine accounting, reconciliations, and reporting. At the same time, you will have the opportunity to, with support from experienced colleagues, gradually develop within areas such as closing, annual reports, and advisory.

For you who are more senior, the role involves independent overall responsibility for your clients – from routine accounting to closing, annual reporting, declarations, reporting, and advisory.

Depending on your experience, your tasks may include:

• Routine bookkeeping and account reconciliations
• VAT and employer declarations
• Reporting and ongoing contact with clients
• Closing and annual reports
• Income tax returns
• Economic advisory and support to the client
• Mentoring and support to less experienced colleagues
• Development of routines, processes, and working methods

The most important thing for us is not exactly how many years you have worked, but that you have a genuine interest in accounting, the consultant role, and the clients' businesses.

You are meticulous and responsible and enjoy working structured towards deadlines. At the same time, you are communicative and like building long-term relationships with clients and colleagues.

You understand that the role of an accountant is about more than delivering correct figures. You are curious about the client's business, build trust, and want to contribute with good service and professional handling.

• Have at least about two years of experience working within accounting
• Are confident and independent in routine accounting and reconciliations
• Have experience with VAT and employer declarations
• Have a great interest in accounting, client relations, and the consultant role
• Have a post-secondary education in economics or equivalent knowledge through work experience
• Communicate fluently in Swedish and have basic knowledge of English

You do not need to be independent in closing and annual reports from day one. If you have a stable foundation in routine accounting and a desire to learn more, there are good opportunities to develop together with us.

For you who are looking for a more senior role, we would prefer that you can independently handle the entire accounting process, including closing, annual reports, income tax returns, and advisory.

• Have experience from an accounting or auditing firm
• Have independently been responsible for your own clients
• Have experience with closing, annual reports, and income tax returns
• Have experience with the K2 and/or K3 accounting frameworks
• Have experience with group accounting
• Have experience with Fortnox, Capego, and/or Wolters Kluwer
• Have mentored and/or supported less experienced colleagues
