Your Responsibilities

As an HR Consultant with us, you have a meaningful and varied assignment where you work closely with our principals and deputy principals. You act as a professional support and coach managers in their employer role.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Supporting and coaching managers in operational HR matters, including competence planning, work environment, rehabilitation, labor law, and change management.
  • Providing advice and support regarding legislation and collective agreements.
  • Collaborating and contributing to good and constructive cooperation with trade union organizations.
  • Driving the development of work environment and leadership in our operations.
  • Developing HR work together with your colleagues to ensure relevant and effective support for the administration's managers.

Here, you become part of a team of experienced HR colleagues where we help each other and share our expertise. To give you the best possible start, you will have a personal mentor during your first period who supports you in the introduction and helps you get into our processes and systems.

Your Workplace

Operational HR is part of the Education Administration's HR department, which consists of approximately 30 employees in total. Our specific unit consists of 11 HR consultants under the leadership of a unit manager. We operate from our office located in the center of Linköping.

The HR department is one of several important support functions for the approximately 220 managers who lead our preschools and schools. In total, the Education Administration has approximately 6,000 employees.

We are now looking for two HR consultants. The positions are fixed-term contracts (maternity/paternity leave replacements), expected to last from 2026-11-01 to 2027-09-30.

You Who Apply

We are looking for you who have a degree from an HR or Personnel Administration program, or alternatively another equivalent education that the employer deems comparable. The role requires that you have good communicative skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, as you need to interpret legal texts, draft agreements, and communicate freely with managers and union parties in your role.

It is meritorious if you have experience of independent work in operational HR assignments. It is also meritorious to have labor law work experience, and we would appreciate that you have experience working with municipal agreements.

To thrive and succeed in the role, you are self-reliant and take responsibility for your task, structure your own approach, and drive your processes forward. You have a pronounced holistic view, meaning you see the big picture and take the broader perspective into account. You understand your role but always consider the best interests of the entire operation in your actions and decisions.

Since the work involves extensive support to the operation's managers, you have very good collaboration skills. You work well with other people, relate to them in a listening and smooth manner, and listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts constructively. You are service-oriented and show a calm, attentive, and accommodating attitude. You have the interest, will, and ability to help others and strive to deliver solutions. Finally, you have pedagogical insight, meaning you have a good understanding of how people absorb knowledge and of people's different conditions, and you adapt your way of conveying your message to the recipient.
