Do you want to work in a senior controller role where data, analysis, systems, and business management meet? Do you thrive on creating structure, refining processes, and turning large amounts of data into insights that help the organization make better decisions?

Kraftringen is now looking for a Senior Business Controller within Data & Business Intelligence. This role is suitable for you who have a strong foundation in controlling, FP&A, or financial analysis and want to work more data-driven with financial management, BI, process development, and information quality. Your most important task will be to ensure that Kraftringen has the right data, the right structure, and the right analytical capability to make well-founded decisions today and in the future.

This is a role where the focus is on developing structures, working methods, system support, and analytical capabilities, thereby creating better insights, more reliable follow-up, and smarter decision support for the entire organization.

As part of Kraftringen, you will have the opportunity to combine business acumen with social benefit and contribute to long-term sustainable decisions for customers, society, and the business.

About the role

As a Senior Business Controller within Data & Business Intelligence, you will become an important part of the controlling department's continued development towards more data-driven decisions. You will work from data source and structure to analysis, visualization, and business management. The role involves ensuring that financial and operational information is available, relevant, quality-assured, and understandable for the parts of the organization that need it.

You will work closely with finance, operations, and IT and contribute to developing modern working methods for follow-up, analysis, and management. An important part of the assignment is not only to generate insights yourself, but also to ensure that the organization uses the right systems, processes, and definitions consistently.

The role suits you who are motivated by being at the intersection of finance, Business Intelligence, master data, analysis, and business management. You are driven by building solutions that make financial management more accurate, more efficient, and more scalable.

Responsibilities

  • Structure, quality-assure, and analyze financial and operational data.
  • Develop working methods, processes, and system support for follow-up, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Work with BI tools, visualization, and reporting to create relevant decision support.
  • Contribute to better data quality, common definitions, and more uniform information management.
  • Produce analyses and insights that support controlling and business management.
  • Act as a bridge between finance, operations, and IT in matters concerning data, reporting, and systems.
  • Support the organization in using the right tools and working methods for financial follow-up.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency, automation, and improved analytical capabilities.

Suitable background

We believe you have:

  • Experience from business controlling, FP&A, financial analysis, business intelligence, or another data-intensive role within finance.
  • Good understanding of financial follow-up, forecasting, budgeting, analysis, and business management.
  • Experience working with BI tools, reporting, visualization, or analysis models.
  • Strong system and process understanding, as well as an interest in data quality and information structure.
  • Ability to drive collaboration between finance, IT, and operations.
  • Experience driving improvements in reporting, analysis, processes, or system support.
  • An academic education in economics, finance, industrial economics, data/analysis, or equivalent.

Experience with Power BI or other analysis tools and BI platforms is considered a strong asset.

Personal qualities

We are looking for you who have a solid background in business controlling, FP&A, financial analysis, or a similar role where data and systems have been a natural part of the work. You are confident in financial relationships, but also have a clear interest in how data, processes, and digital tools can be used to create better management and better decisions.

As a person, you are analytical, structured, and pedagogical, while also having the ability to understand the business's needs and translate them into reports, models, processes, and system support that work in practice. You are also curious, meticulous, and development-oriented, enjoy creating order in complexity, and have the ability to both go into details and see the big picture. You thrive in a role where you get to improve, build, and refine rather than just maintain.

What we offer

This is an opportunity for you who want to combine financial management with data, analysis, and development. You will have a central role in strengthening the organization's analytical capability, improving processes, and contributing to more data-driven decisions. The role suits you who want to work on creating value within finance, focusing on structure and future working methods rather than just business-oriented management.
