Kraftringen is now looking for a Senior Business Controller with a focus on operational control and business development. This is a role for you who wants to continue developing in a senior position with significant impact, close to the operations and management.

You will be a central financial partner to one or more business areas and act as a business-oriented support in matters concerning control, value creation, financial prioritization, and long-term development. The role involves close collaboration with the business area manager, where you have a large mandate to influence, challenge, and create direction.

About the role

As a Senior Business Controller within operational control, you work on translating financial insights into concrete decisions and actions. The focus is not solely on the income statement, but largely on the balance sheet, cash flow, capital utilization, and how different business decisions affect the company's long-term economic development.

You will become an important advisor to decision-makers in the organization and are expected to contribute with both analytical sharpness and business judgment. This may involve supporting the operations with investment decisions, major change initiatives, business development, and other strategically important choices.

The role has a clear focus on how the balance sheet, cash flow, and capital utilization can be used to strengthen the business and create long-term value. A crucial part of success in this role is your ability to build trust, establish relationships, and bring the organization along in change. You know that value is not created in the analysis, but in the decisions and behaviors that the analysis leads to.

Responsibilities

• Act as a business-oriented financial partner to one or more business areas.
• Analyze results, balance sheet, cash flow, and operational key figures to influence and steer the operations.
• Challenge, support, and guide the operations in economic and business decisions.
• Identify value drivers, risks, and opportunities related to profitability, capital binding, and long-term development.
• Provide decision support for investments, change initiatives, and other business-critical decisions.
• Ensure that economic control is translated into practical action in the operations.
• Collaborate closely with controlling, accounting, purchasing, and other central functions.

Suitable background

We believe you have:

• Several years of experience in qualified controlling, finance business partnering, or senior economic management.
• A strong understanding of balance sheets, cash flow, capital binding, and financial value drivers.
• Experience working closely with operations, management, or business areas.
• Ability to combine analysis with business judgment and clear communication.
• Habit of creating structure, driving dialogue, and ensuring economic control lands in concrete decisions.
• University education in economics, finance, or a corresponding field.

Personal qualities

We are looking for you who have a solid background in qualified controlling, such as senior business controller, finance manager, economic manager, or another role with qualified responsibility for economic control and business development.

You are used to working broadly with economic control and have a strong understanding of the connections between results, balance sheet, cash flow, and operational decisions. You thrive in a role where the analysis does not stop at reporting, but is used to drive the business forward.

As a person, you are confident, business-minded, and trustworthy. You have integrity, dare to challenge, and have the ability to communicate complex economic relationships in a way that creates engagement and action. You do not necessarily need to have had personnel responsibility, but you have experience influencing senior decision-makers and driving change through others.
