Play a leading role in our engaged production team and work in a state-of-the-art production environment in Karlskrona

Are you looking for an opportunity to inspire, motivate, and lead a team? If you have previous leadership and preferably industrial experience and are motivated by leading people within production, this might be the right job for you. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a company that plays a central role in the green transition in our society. Our production is growing, and we now need to expand our team of production managers for our conductor manufacturing.

Develop, motivate, and engage

As a Production Manager at NKT, it is your leadership qualities that take center stage. You lead a skilled team of Operators working with the manufacturing of our cable cores in the form of copper or aluminum conductors. You ensure that our resources in terms of people, machines, and materials are used in the best possible way. You will lead a team where the applied working hours are 5-shift, meaning production continues even when you are not on site.

In the role, you will have the opportunity to develop your leadership and are responsible for, among other things:

• Responsible for recruitment and development of personnel.
• Ensures rational utilization of resources: people, machines, and materials.
• Prepares, follows up on, and updates investment and overhead budgets.
• Visualizes and monitors department goals, breaking them down and developing them within the department.
• Ensures that operations are conducted in accordance with current laws and agreements.

Inspiring and engaged leader

To achieve good results and thrive as a production manager, you have previous experience leading personnel and the ability to engage and motivate employees. You are skilled at handling challenges with a positive attitude in a changing environment and are good at giving feedback with a professional ability to meet different individuals.

As a leader, you are clear about goals and expectations and see development as the most important factor for sustainable results. You have an interest in technology and are happy to contribute to conversations and discussions.

In addition to the above, you have experience leading personnel, worked with SAM (Systematic Work Environment Management), and have a genuine interest in quality and improvement work.

Your CV should include the following:

• Upper secondary education with a focus on technology or equivalent
• Experience in personnel management within manufacturing industry
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, experience with SAP is an advantage
• Swedish and English in speech and writing
