Responsibilities

We are now looking for an experienced and driven developer with a focus on education and project management to contribute to improving quality and efficiency within healthcare, with a focus on creating value for the patient.

The position involves collaborating with our clinical operations, educational institutions, program directors, and other external actors to develop educational assignments and ensure future competence supply within healthcare. The assignment includes coordinating agreements with universities and colleges, coordinating work within strategic groupings such as the education council, as well as coordinating statements and state grants within the area of responsibility.

In the role, you are also responsible for leading and driving larger and complex projects, as well as supporting project owners, steering groups, and project members throughout the entire project process. You contribute expertise in project methodology, documentation, benefit analyses, communication planning, and effect realization. You conduct investigations, analyze, and compile results that form the basis for decisions and business development.

You also participate in national, healthcare-regional, and local collaboration forums and contribute to professional education assignments to contribute to development, implementation, and increased patient benefit.

About the workplace

The Knowledge Support Unit is part of the Planning and Development Staff, which provides strategic support to operations, management, and politics to contribute to a long-term sustainable, good, and equitable healthcare. The staff works with development issues within knowledge management, education, digitalization, as well as production and staffing planning, and drives assignments in close collaboration with operations and external actors.

The Knowledge Support Unit is responsible for creating conditions for the implementation, follow-up, and development of national knowledge support in Region Västmanland. The unit also supports operations in quality-driven development through improvement knowledge as well as process and project management, in close collaboration with regional and national actors.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a relevant university education with a focus on healthcare, and experience in leading larger or complex projects and improvement work. You work in a structured, analytical manner and have a strong development focus. We also want you to have a great interest in educational issues and enjoy driving change in close collaboration with operations.

To succeed in the role, you need to be a skilled collaborator who builds good relationships and can engage different actors towards common goals. It is an advantage if you have education in business development or project management as well as experience in implementation work or improvement methodology.
