About the role

The role is broad and closely tied to operations, offering you the opportunity to combine financial reporting and accounting with analysis, business support, and process development. You will work closely with the Finance Manager and support various business functions with financial monitoring, analysis, and decision-making materials.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring quality and maintenance of master data in the business system
• Providing business support to various functions through financial monitoring, analysis, and advisory services
• Budgeting, forecasting, and planning within your area of responsibility
• Analyzing financial results and preparing reports and decision-support materials
• Customer invoicing and monitoring of customer receivables
• Supporting the business in interpreting financial information and contributing to well-founded business decisions
• Continuous development and efficiency improvement of finance and internal processes
• Ensuring compliance with financial guidelines, internal controls, and group requirements
• Supporting internal and external audits
• Supporting closing processes and ongoing accounting
• Supporting group reconciliations and financial reporting within the group

In addition to collaborating with colleagues in the company's other business areas, you will interact with several central functions within the entire GKN Aerospace group, both locally in Hallstahammar, Trollhättan, and Gothenburg, and globally, primarily in the U.K.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with experience in accounting, financial reporting, and analysis. You thrive in an operationally close role where you can combine operational finance work with analysis and business support, and you are comfortable communicating financial information to different parts of the business.

To succeed in the role, we see that you have:

• Experience in accounting, closing processes, and financial reporting
• Experience in group reporting and financial analysis
• A good understanding of how financial transactions affect the income statement and balance sheet
• Good system proficiency and very good skills in Excel
• Experience working in ERP systems
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Post-secondary education in economics or equivalent work experience

Experience with Monitor G5, IFRS, and working in an international group environment is advantageous.

The position requires you to undergo and pass security clearance according to current regulations. For positions where GKN's customer has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
