About the Unit
The Garrison Unit supports the regiment's production of combat units. With the combat units at the center, the unit provides support in a wide range of functional areas such as training and firing ranges, environment, electrical safety, educational support, premises, IT, and defense medicine. The unit has an established environmental function with three positions, which will be expanded in line with the growth of the Swedish Armed Forces.
Main Responsibilities
As an Environmental Administrator at the regiment, you will handle notification and permit cases related to the regiment's operations. You will conduct investigations within the environmental field to provide qualified decision support to decision-making managers. You will also support the Environmental Manager with matters such as physical planning and infrastructure, contributing both legal backing and expertise. More concretely, you will work with:
- Preparations and investigations related to the environmental field.
- Administration and documentation according to agency standards.
- Leading training within your area of expertise.
- Legal interpretation & advice primarily related to the Environmental Code.
Qualifications
To be considered for the position, you must meet the following requirements:
- A university degree in environmental and health protection, biogeosciences, environmental engineering, or equivalent as assessed by the employer.
- Several years of work experience in areas relevant to the position as assessed by the employer.
- Legal experience related to the Environmental Code.
- Driver's license, category B (manual transmission).
- Fluency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
Personal Qualities
In the role of Environmental Administrator, you will work with both your own cases and cross-functional collaborations between different parts of the regiment. This requires you to work in a structured manner according to a clear plan, while also taking responsibility for your own processes. We are also looking for someone who is analytical and confident in their ability to communicate their expertise in a pedagogical way.
Great emphasis will be placed on your personal qualities in this recruitment.
Merits
It is an advantage if you have:
- Previous experience working within the Swedish Armed Forces or another government agency.
- Experience from environmental management systems and self-control.
- Knowledge of the interaction between ecosystems, nature's changes, and land use.
- Experience interpreting environmental legislation and managing contacts with supervisory authorities.

The Southern Scanian Regiment (P 7) is located approximately 20 kilometers east of Lund. The regiment's main task is to produce and maintain combat units for the Army. Additionally, we have the task of establishing and staffing LNLV (Battalion to NATO's Multinational Brigade in Latvia) - an annual recurring task with approximately 550 professional officers, soldiers, and civilians. The unit trains between 300-500 conscripts annually in ground combat, and our main weapon systems and vehicles consist of Stridsvagn 122, Stridsfordon 90, and Pansarterrängbil 360. At P 7, there is both continuously and temporarily serving personnel.

An employment with us involves placement in a security class. Swedish citizenship is usually required.
