1 position(s).

The Environmental and Health Protection Unit is now looking for an engaged and driven employee to work with environmental protection! The position is a parental leave substitute for approximately 11 months with the possibility of extension.

A normal working day with us involves many varied tasks. You will carry out inspection visits to operations that may pose a potential health or environmental hazard. This may, for example, concern contaminated areas, vehicle operations, and permit-required operations such as larger waste sorting facilities or surface treatment plants. The tasks may vary during the year, and you will also handle incoming notifications, applications, and complaint cases, among other things. You will write decisions and have extensive contact with customers and operations. In our activity-based office, creativity is encouraged, and you work closely with your colleagues in both inspections and improvement and change work. We also work actively against welfare crime, and this must be considered in all inspections we perform.

We have many great benefits!
In addition to a workplace with happy, knowledgeable, and considerate colleagues, we also offer, among other things:

  • Remote work up to three days a week
  • Flexible working hours, a so-called annual working time agreement
  • Shorter working day on Fridays, when we finish at 15:00
  • Health care allowance or health care hour
  • Holiday exchange
  • Further education in the form of attending courses
  • Many discounts on e.g., grocery boxes, SL cards, e-bikes, cinema tickets, and more.

Are you our new employee?

The person we are looking for is receptive, dares to think new thoughts, and challenges our operational routines in a constructive way. You will independently inspect various operations to see if there are deficiencies that could negatively affect people's health or the environment. You make your assessments with the support of the Environmental Code and other relevant laws and regulations. You collaborate with your colleagues by discussing deficiencies and possible solutions to these in different cases. You also have extensive contact with private individuals, authorities, and companies, which requires a genuine interest in building good social contacts as well as providing good service.

We also place great emphasis on your personal qualities and that you contribute to good social interaction.

We preferably see that you have experience as an environmental inspector that reflects a modern, and currently prevailing, professional practice.

To qualify for the position, you must have the following qualifications:

  • Education: You must have an education within the field of environmental and health protection inspectorate or similar (such as environmental scientist) that is considered relevant for the profession and current knowledge in the area.
