Description
The Neuropsychiatric Clinic Öster is one of two neuropsychiatric clinics within the Neuropsychiatry business area. At these clinics, we investigate and treat ADHD and psychiatric comorbidity, primarily anxiety and depressive disorders, and we also have an investigative responsibility for autism.
At the Neuropsychiatric Clinic Öster, we currently have approximately 4,200 active patients. The clinic has a total of twelve psychologist positions distributed across four teams. As a psychologist here, you will work with the investigation of neuropsychiatric disabilities, as well as group and individual treatments targeting both neuropsychiatric issues and more severe affective comorbidity. The psychology group engages in extensive collaborative work and is involved in several ongoing research projects.
In total, we are just over 60 employees. Our workplace is characterized by high professionalism and an open climate. We always strive for quality improvements and maintaining links to universities and research. We are located in airy and modern premises at Krokslätts Fabriker in Mölndal.
We offer you stimulating, varied, and developmental work with good opportunities for learning.
Responsibilities
The work as a psychologist in one of our NP teams requires that you have the ability to sensitively meet individual patients and enjoy pondering differential diagnostic questions. In the investigative work, we primarily work with joint assessments – meaning conducting investigations together with a physician or another psychologist. This places demands on your ability to collaborate. Group treatments are also conducted together with either another psychologist, an occupational therapist, or a nurse. Therefore, it is beneficial if you enjoy working with groups (PEGASUS, DBT-inspired skills training, UP group).
Previous experience in psychological work with our target group, as well as experience with CBT treatment and neuropsychiatric investigations, is meritorious. Within the psychology group at the clinic, we have developed two main directions: one focusing on individual treatment interventions and one focusing on neuropsychiatric assessments. Experience in both areas is an advantage.
About You
We are looking for you who are a licensed psychologist. You are meticulous, structured, have good administrative skills, and are accustomed to juggling many tasks. You can work independently but also have good collaboration skills.
You put the patient at the center and are empathetic. You have previous experience working with our patient group. We appreciate that you are solution-focused and interested in developing and improving care. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
We warmly welcome your application
