Kärråkra Health Centre is a modern and well-functioning primary care unit with approximately 9,300 registered patients. Here, approximately 50 employees work in bright and spacious premises, offering a broad range of services including general practitioner and district nurse clinics, Child Health Services (BVC), physiotherapy, psychology clinic, asthma/COPD clinic, diabetes clinic, and a certified geriatric clinic.
The health centre also includes a general paediatric specialist clinic, providing unique opportunities to develop your expertise in child and youth healthcare.
The unit is characterized by stability, good structure, and high medical professionalism. Eleven doctors work here, nine of whom are specialists in general practice, creating a secure and learning-oriented environment for you as a Specialist Training (ST) doctor. All essential professions are gathered here, and we actively engage in operational development through cross-professional teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES
In the role of an ST doctor, you will have an exciting and challenging job with good conditions for a broad education within the specialty. Your education will be tailored in consultation with your supervisor to ensure the training is as optimal and interesting as possible. You will work with common tasks such as planned and emergency doctor visits, acting as a consultant for nurses, supervising students, and participating in rounds for assessment and triage.
As an ST doctor with us, you will receive a broad and well-planned education in general practice. You will be supported by experienced specialists, receive high-quality supervision, and have the opportunity to develop within the full breadth of primary care, including work with our specialist clinics and the general paediatric activities. Together, we create a secure and learning environment where you can grow into the role of a future specialist.
A permanent position as an ST doctor may be preceded by a fixed-term position as a resident doctor for a period of three to six months, in accordance with regional guidelines for the appointment of ST doctors in Primary Care.
QUALIFICATIONS
You, the applicant, are a licensed physician with the right to practice in Swedish healthcare. To be eligible for an ST position in general practice, completed basic training (BT) or previously completed general practice training (AT) under older regulations is required. Proficiency in Swedish at least equivalent to level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale is a requirement. Experience from primary care is meritorious, and we are looking for you who wish to develop long-term within general practice.
