Experienced Accountant/Accounting Consultant sought for assignment in Malmö

Are you an experienced accountant or accounting consultant looking to work in a dynamic, modern environment where you can take ownership and make a difference? We are now seeking a driven and engaged consultant for an exciting full-time assignment in Malmö, on behalf of our client. The workplace is modern and located in central Malmö.

In this role, you will be responsible for ongoing bookkeeping and will be a key part of the daily accounting function. We are looking for someone with at least five years of experience in accounting who can independently handle both customer and supplier ledgers, perform ongoing reconciliations, and provide general assistance with accounting matters.

Responsibilities

• Ongoing bookkeeping
• Management of customer and supplier ledgers
• Follow-up of incoming and outgoing payments
• Reminder handling and collection cases
• Digitalization and registration of new customers and suppliers
• Reconciliations and administration related to the ledger
• Ongoing follow-up and quality assurance of financial flows
• Receipt handling
• Expense management

We are looking for someone who

• Has at least five years of experience as an accountant or accounting consultant
• Is self-sufficient and confident in taking responsibility for your tasks
• Has good experience with customer and supplier ledgers
• Is meticulous, structured, and quality-conscious
• Thrives in a role that combines accounting with administrative tasks
• Has good system proficiency and experience with digital working methods
• Speaks and writes Swedish and English fluently
• Is described as cheerful and positive

Experience with preparing annual accounts, annual reports, and income tax returns is meritorious but not a requirement. However, we expect you to have good general knowledge of accounting and taxation.
