About the role

As a Senior Accounting Assistant, you will become a key person in the team, collaborating closely with the Accounting Manager and the Finance Manager. Your responsibility will be to handle accounts payable, as well as supporting with ongoing bookkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Invoicing
• Supplier invoices
• Payments
• Bank account booking
• Reconciliations: reconciling customer and supplier ledgers, and tax accounts
• VAT (knowledge of VAT setups, export, import)
• Ongoing bookkeeping
• Accruals and deferrals
• Intercompany invoicing

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have several years of experience as an accounting assistant, where you have worked independently with responsibility for accounts payable and receivable. You feel confident in your financial knowledge and understand the flow of the accounting process. In this role, there is a high work pace, which you thrive in. You can independently keep an overview, prioritize your tasks, and ask for help when needed.

We would appreciate it if you have experience in transaction-intensive operations, as well as an interest in systems and experience with process changes.
