You will work within the Employment Unit, which is organized under the Municipal Executive Board Administration in Åstorp Municipality. The operational goal of the Employment Unit is to offer meaningful engagement and to help guide participants further to the open labor market or education.

This job is suitable for you if:

Responsibilities

As a work coach, you lead a group of participants who are far from the labor market. You plan, distribute, and follow up on daily work while coaching and motivating the participants.

A large part of the work takes place outdoors and consists of practical tasks such as:

• Park and green area maintenance
• Gardening
• Simple property maintenance
• Other service tasks in the municipality

You are responsible for ensuring that the work is performed safely and with quality, and that participants develop towards increased independence and work capacity.

In addition to the practical work, you are responsible for planning and leading daily operations, motivating and coaching both individuals and groups, and documenting participants' development and progression. You collaborate with colleagues and other authorities to create good conditions for participants' development. The role also includes responsibility for vehicles, tools, and ensuring the work is carried out safely and with quality.

You treat others with respect, clarity, and a coaching approach. You have strong faith in people's ability to develop and take steps towards self-sufficiency.

Qualifications

• Upper secondary education
• Practical experience from gardening, parks/streets, green area maintenance, property maintenance, or similar operations
• Experience in coaching or leading personnel
• Category B driver's license
• Good computer skills and experience with Microsoft 365
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing

It is an advantage if you have

• Experience from employment activities, municipality, or similar
• Chainsaw certificate, hot work permit, work on roads
• Multilingualism
