Job Description

The tasks include diagnostic physiological examinations such as echocardiography, peripheral circulation, ECG, lung physiology, invasive heart diagnostics, cardiac MRI, nuclear medicine, and PET/CT.

We have great opportunities for varied tasks and development. Quality and method development is a continuous process where everyone participates to improve and develop.

As a university hospital, we have many students, primarily from the Biomedical Laboratory Science (BMLS) and medical programs. The work involves both supervision and teaching.

Many research projects are conducted at the clinic where biomedical analysts participate by collecting data and performing measurements on collected material. We also have BMLS professionals who lead their own research projects.

Work Group

The Department of Clinical Physiology is part of the Heart Center at Linköping University Hospital. Advanced functional diagnostics are performed using ECG, lung function tests, ultrasound, MRI, gamma camera, and PET/CT. The department is divided into several teams with different areas of examination. The teams consist of various professions collaborating with the patient in focus. Rotation between teams creates a variation in tasks.

The department has broad competence in clinical physiology as well as specialized expertise in several areas. We actively work to maintain and develop competence through both internal and external training. We also participate in the Equalis training program.

About you

We are looking for you who are a licensed biomedical analyst specializing in clinical physiology.

We would prefer that you have experience as a biomedical analyst in clinical physiology or have other experience working in healthcare.

Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
