Do you want to work in care that contributes to older people living a dignified life and feeling well-being? Then you could be our new nurse!
Who are we?
Health Care Organization 2 is an area-based team consisting of nurses, healthcare assistants, as well as physiotherapists and occupational therapists. The area of responsibility covers 6 special housing facilities for the elderly with permanent places and rotation care places. These facilities are located at Bygdevägen 15 on Vikbolandet, Silverringen 56, Lindövägen 102, Plåtslagaregatan 8, Klingsbergsgatan 34, and Trumpetaregatan 2.
The nursing group is a mix of specialist and basic trained nurses. We have both newly graduated staff and those with long experience. We utilize each other's competencies and help each other when needed.
Your responsibilities
The care is focused on ensuring that the elderly can live a dignified life and feel well-being. Together with other employees, you are responsible for providing residents with good and safe care and participating in the work on quality development and patient safety.
As a nurse, you have a healthcare assignment with primary and secondary responsibility for the residents living at the facility. The role of primary nurse means that you have main responsibility for a number of residents, and as a secondary nurse, you have a consultative responsibility for a larger number of residents, for example when your colleagues are on leave or during weekends.
You work with preventive measures, medical assessments, healthcare interventions, and nursing care. You also perform routine nursing tasks such as doctor contact, sampling, medication management, issuing delegations, palliative care, and more.
The work itself is varied and independent, where you largely plan and carry out interventions yourself within the framework of healthcare.
With us, you work only during daytime and have approximately two weekend shifts every 7–8 weeks. At 17:00, the evening and night organization takes over.
Wellness allowance is available.
Who are you?
We are looking for you who are a registered nurse and want to work in special housing for the elderly with commitment, responsibility, and a positive attitude. We would like you to have experience working with elderly care, dementia diseases, and palliative care, but we place great emphasis on your personal qualities and your willingness to develop together with the operations.
You have the ability to lead yourself in daily work and feel secure in adapting to new situations, working methods, and changes that may arise in the operations.
Even during periods of high workload, you maintain your calm, work systematically, and have the ability to prioritize while maintaining a professional and friendly approach.
In meetings with patients, relatives, and colleagues, you are attentive and empathetic, with a good understanding of people's different needs and feelings. You work independently, take responsibility for your tasks, and drive the work forward, but also have the judgment to ask for support or collaborate with others when needed to ensure good and safe care.
Collaboration is a natural part of your way of working, and you actively contribute to good teamwork by sharing knowledge, communicating openly, and striving for a secure and harmonious work group.
You master Swedish in speech and writing and have a B driving license.
