Do you want to work independently with advanced endoscopic diagnostics while making a significant difference for patients?

We are looking for a nurse for our endoscopy unit. Here, you will have an independent role where you perform endoscopic examinations in close collaboration with doctors, nurses, and assistant nurses.

Job Description

As an endoscopy nurse, you are responsible for planning, performing, and documenting endoscopic examinations according to the unit's guidelines and current competence areas.

You meet the patient throughout the entire care chain and contribute to safe, professional, and person-centered care.

Your responsibilities include among other things:

• Independent performance of endoscopic examinations.
• Assessment and care of patients before, during, and after the examination.
• Documentation of findings and examination results.
• Information and counseling to patients and relatives.
• Participation in quality and development work.
• Collaboration with doctors, nurses, and assistant nurses.

The Team

We are currently a lovely group of around 20 employees – both assistant nurses and nurses. Many have long experience and are more than happy to help. We have a positive atmosphere where teamwork and engagement are central.

About You

• You are a registered nurse.
• You have an interest in independently performing endoscopic examinations.
• You have experience working in endoscopy, gastroenterology, or a similar specialty.
• You are confident in your professional role and have good clinical assessment skills.
• You have a strong patient focus and a professional approach.
• You thrive taking responsibility and working both independently and in a team.
