What we offer

Primary Care Centre Östergötland consists of 33 region-run health centres, Vårdcentrum Finspång, the Child Health Service unit, 1177 and emergency clinics in the evenings and weekends, and the General Practice Education Centre. We provide a broad primary care service offering care to everyone throughout their lives; newborns, children, adolescents, adults, the elderly, and patients in the terminal stages of life.

Valla Health Centre is located in Ebbepark in central Linköping. We have approximately 70 employees and over 18,300 patients registered with us. In addition to the doctor's clinic and child health centre, the health centre houses a number of specialist clinics, including a counselling clinic. The premises also include a pharmacy and a laboratory.

Valla Health Centre is an academic health centre where research is an important part of daily work, and our teaching mission is a natural part of the job. We host students from nursing, medical, and healthcare administration programmes.

Job Description

We offer a varied and stimulating job, both independently and in a team. The job includes telephone advice, which can sometimes be done remotely. In our emergency team, you work together with doctors and assistant nurses. You also get the chance to work with the clinic reception, which we try to adapt to your interests and skills. As a new employee, you will be assigned a mentor, and continuous training is offered. Here, we actively work with development and improvement and welcome new ideas.

About You

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse/registered nurse with an interest in primary care. If you have previous experience working at a health centre, that is an advantage. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

As a person, you have good collaboration skills and can also work independently, planning and making your own decisions based on your profession. You are structured and have a strong commitment to your work. You have a professional attitude and contribute to a good working climate. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.

This is a temporary position during the period 1 November 2026 - 27 October 2027. We conduct ongoing selection, so please submit your application as soon as possible.
