Ekholmen Health Centre is an academic health centre within the Primary Care Centre, with a special focus on research and teaching. We view positively the willingness to change and be involved in improvement work. We want to be part of the future and we want to have fun together.

Our offer

Primary Care Centre Östergötland consists of 33 region-run health centres, Vårdcentrum Finspång, the Child Health Care Unit, 1177 and emergency centres in the evenings and weekends, and the General Practice Education Centre. We operate a broad primary care service where we offer care to everyone throughout their lives; newborns, children, adolescents, adults, the elderly, and patients at the end of life.

Ekholmen Health Centre is located in the southern part of Linköping and currently has approximately 22,000 registered patients. We offer you, as a new nurse/registered nurse, a tailored introduction based on your needs. With an appointed mentor, we aim to create a sense of security for you as someone new to primary care.

Job Description

Your tasks at the health centre are varied and cover the field of general practice, where you meet patients with different backgrounds of all ages. In primary care, you work with health promotion, counseling, and treatment in telephone advice and at the nurse's clinic.

In both emergency and planned activities, you receive patients and collaborate with other professions. We view positively continued competence development, and there are opportunities for development within your own area of responsibility.

Work Group

We are approximately 70 employees at the health centre who enjoy working together in an open work climate.

The health centre includes a doctor's clinic, specialist nurse clinics, a nurse's clinic, a nursing assistant clinic, child health care, psychosocial competence, a dietician, foot care, and a laboratory. We are also responsible for several nursing homes and collaborate with home care services.

About You

You are a licensed nurse or registered nurse, preferably with experience in primary care.

You master the Swedish language in speech and writing, corresponding to level C1.

You have good cooperation skills and can plan, organize, and prioritize your work. Furthermore, you have a pleasant attitude towards patients and colleagues, and communicate in a clear and non-hierarchical manner. You are confident in your professional role and have the ability to make independent decisions based on your profession. We want to develop the care we offer our patients, which requires curious and driven employees, and we therefore place great importance on personal suitability.
