Welcome to a workplace where we not only dare to think new thoughts – we encourage it! At Åtvidaberg Municipality, we work with courage, a holistic perspective, and long-term thinking in everything we do.

We are looking for assistant nurses/care assistants for the Kopparsvanen nursing home, wards 1-7!

As one of our wards is being converted into a dementia-focused unit, we are now strengthening our staffing and seeking more engaged employees who wish to contribute to safety and care at our nursing home, around the clock. Our goal is to deliver high-quality services through good planning with both the user and the employee in focus.

Your responsibilities

Within the framework of your assignment, you are responsible for performing individualized care work according to the current implementation plan at the Kopparsvanen nursing home, wards 1-7. You assist users with personal care such as hygiene, dressing, and meals, and work to create a sense of security and provide social support.

You contribute to giving our users a meaningful day and strive to maintain health.

The responsibilities also include observing and reporting changes in health status, ensuring correct documentation, and handling medications based on delegation. The work requires a high degree of responsibility, independence, and good collaboration with colleagues.

The role also involves being a contact person for one or two users on the ward. The contact person facilitates dialogue with relatives and ensures that the implementation plan is up to date.

Who you are

We prefer that you are a trained assistant nurse, and experience in care and nursing work within dementia care is considered an advantage.

To succeed in the role, we see that you are flexible, responsive, and have good empathetic skills. We see that you are self-reliant and take responsibility for your task with the individual in focus. Furthermore, we see that you are calm and stable in stressful situations and find it easy to collaborate with others.

Documentation is an important part of the work and requires that you have a good understanding of the Swedish language, both orally and in writing, as well as some computer skills.

About the employment

The position is a permanent part-time or full-time employment, subject to preferences. Start date by agreement.

About the recruitment process

You are warmly welcome to apply by August 9. We are recruiting continuously, so do not wait with your application.

In Åtvidaberg Municipality, we strive for gender equality, which is why we would like to see a staff composition that also reflects the diversity of society. We welcome applicants who contribute to this.

We handle the entire recruitment process ourselves and therefore do not wish to receive any further offers for advertising and recruitment assistance in connection with this advertisement.
