Ekholmen Health Centre is an academic health centre within Primary Care Centre, with a special focus on research and teaching. We value the willingness to change and to be involved in improvement work. We want to be part of the future and we want to have fun together.
Our Offer
Primary Care Centre Östergötland consists of 33 region-run health centres, Vårdcentrum Finspång, the Child Health Centre, evening and weekend 1177 and emergency clinics, and the General Practice Education Centre. We provide a broad range of primary care services, offering care to everyone throughout their lives; newborns, children, adolescents, adults, the elderly, and patients at the end of life.
Ekholmen Health Centre is located in the southern part of Linköping and currently has approximately 22,000 registered patients. As a new nurse/registered nurse, we offer you a tailored introduction based on your needs. With a designated mentor, we aim to create a sense of security for you as someone new to primary care.

Job Description
Your duties at the health centre are varied and cover the field of general practice, where you meet patients from different backgrounds of all ages. In primary care, you work in a health-promoting, advisory, and treatment capacity, including telephone advice and nurse-led clinics.
In both emergency and planned operations, you receive patients and collaborate with other professions. We view continued competence development positively, and there are opportunities for development within your own area of responsibility.
Work Group
We are approximately 70 employees at the health centre who enjoy working together in an open work climate.
The health centre features a doctor's clinic, specialist nurse clinics, a nurse clinic, a nursing assistant clinic, child health services, psychosocial competence, a dietician, a podiatry clinic, and a laboratory. We are also responsible for several nursing homes and collaborate with home care services.

About You
You are a licensed nurse or registered nurse, preferably with experience in primary care.
You possess Swedish language skills at a C1 level in both speech and writing.
You have good teamwork skills and can plan, organize, and prioritize your work. Furthermore, you have a pleasant attitude towards patients and colleagues, and communicate in a clear and non-hierarchical manner. You are confident in your professional role and have the ability to make independent decisions based on your profession. We want to develop the care we offer our patients, which requires curious and driven employees, so we place great emphasis on personal suitability.
