About the job

We are looking for you who want a stimulating and developing job. As a nursing assistant (undersköterska) with us, you will have a varied job involving many contact areas. Job Responsibilities

As a nursing assistant with us, you contribute to good care and support for users in their homes. You will work with care adapted to the individual's needs. This can include social and physical activities, both individually and in groups. In your work, you help the user with health and medical care measures as well as rehabilitative measures prescribed by a nurse, physiotherapist, and occupational therapist.

Having a fixed care contact is part of your work, meaning you have a special responsibility for one or more individuals. You help create good relationships with colleagues, users, and relatives. Your work also includes ongoing documentation and responsibility for drawing up, following up, and revising implementation plans.

Who are you

We are looking for you who take responsibility for your tasks with the user's best interests in focus and who are keen to complete the work you have started. As a person, you have the ability to take initiative and create trusting relationships based on care and empathy. You work independently and have good teamwork skills as you actively participate in team work.

Requirements:

• Proof of protected professional title for nursing assistant from the National Board of Health and Welfare, or alternatively a certificate from a previous employer confirming that you had a permanent position as a nursing assistant on July 1, 2023.
• Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good reading comprehension.
• Basic digital competence.
• Cycling skills.

Merits:

• Vård- och omsorgscollegediplom (Care and Support College Diploma).
• Experience of similar work and/or education within dementia care.
• Experience of documentation.

Other

• To be employed in the role of nursing assistant, you need to attach proof of the protected professional title or a certificate from your current employer confirming that you have/had a permanent position as a nursing assistant on July 1, 2023, with your application.
• You will work scheduled hours such as day, evening, and weekend. The position is a permanent full-time (100%) position.
• Your primary workplace will be the Drömstan home care unit, but you are employed in the entire Sector of Social Welfare in Lidköping Municipality, which means you may be required to work at several different units.
• Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
• Selection takes place continuously during the recruitment period.

Police Certificate (Background Check)

Before being offered employment, you as a candidate are required to present an extract from the criminal record register for work in any of the following areas; school or preschool, work with children in other activities than school and childcare, work with children according to the LSS Act, work at or in connection with HVB homes (homes for young people with behavioral problems), work with the elderly or persons with disabilities. You order the extract via the Police's website. The extract must be presented before employment can begin.
