We are now looking for a licensed nurse for the night shift in our health and medical care unit. The extent of the position will be discussed with the recruiting manager.

The municipal health and medical care is constantly facing new challenges. Our night nurses play a vital role in the work towards close care and collaboration with the region. The municipality's social services department aims to work preventively and rehabilitatively, with a special focus on remaining at home.

Job Responsibilities

As a licensed nurse in the health and medical care organization in Kungsör Municipality, you work strategically based on the patient's needs. You have a supervisory role towards the patient, nursing staff, and relatives with the aim of creating self-determination and independence for the patient. You are part of the health and medical care organization together with nurses, specialist assistant nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, activity coordinators, and regular night nurses.

As a night nurse, you work independently with patients in ordinary and special housing. You also work in collaboration with the AH-team as we in the municipality take care of their patients at night. The assignment includes, among other things, being on-site for assessments, acute interventions, and planned interventions for palliative care if needed at night between 21:00-07:00.

You provide support as needed in accordance with the Health and Medical Care Act for employees in all care and social services operations such as LSS (Act for Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), special housing, and home nursing. You also have support from the mobile family doctor team during the night.

You work on a rolling 6-week schedule.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse, have a B-driver's license, and have previous experience working as a nurse. Since charting is part of the job, you must be able to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and have good IT skills.

As a person, you are aware and mindful of your and the organization's brand and always work in accordance with the mission. For you, collaboration and good treatment are a natural part of the workday. You enjoy working with freedom under responsibility and see the knowledge of other professions as a strength.
